Method to Make Lip Balm at Home
Keep all the ingredients (Vaseline, Coconut oil, Vitamin E, Beeswax, Vanilla essence) except eye shadow powder in a bowl in double boiler or use microwave, but to be on safer side I use double boiler. By double boiler I mean put water in one pan on gas stove and place a bowl with all these ingredients in that pan with constant stirring so that it doesn’t receive direct heat and burn up or lose its essence or texture. Within 20-30 seconds your all ingredients will start melting. Keep stirring till it gives liquid consistency.

Now add eye shadow powder to the mixture and stir for another 10-20 seconds and dissolve the color and mix completely. Make sure you use good quality eye shadow color. Keep stirring and add more color if you want. Once you feel consistency is okay, and mixture doesn’t contains any lumps or solid particles, remove it from pan.

Immediately move the mixture from bowl to a plastic container and keep it in freezer for 20-30 minutes or overnight.
