- 2-3 Amla
- 1 medium sized Onion
- A handful of curry leaves
- 2-3 tbsp of coconut oil
- Tea tree oil or any other essential oil of your choice (optional)
How to Prepare Hair Oil for Long and Strong Hair
Take the onion, peel it and cut it into small cubes. Cut the amlas in small cubes as well. Put them in a grinder and make a paste. Take out the paste and extract onion and amla juice and collect it in a separate bowl. Next, roast the curry leaves on low medium flames for couple of minutes. Crush the roasted leaves using a mortar.

Then heat the coconut oil on low flame for a minute and add the crushed curry leaves and the onion-amla juice. Remove from the heat and let it cool down. Strain the oil and collect it in a jar or bowl. Add a few drops of essential oil. It is a completely optional step. The main aim for using essential oil is to get rid of the strong onion smell.
