Yes, that’s right. You can use your face moisturizer as your face pack. For example, if you have a super rich moisturizer, scoop out some amount of that and add few drops of honey and your favorite essential oil to that. Mix well and spread a thick layer of it all over the face. Wait for 15-20 minutes and then wipe away with damp cotton. This will give a boost of hydration to your skin.
Use as Face Scrub
You can make your own exfoliating scrub with the moisturizer that you don’t use anymore. Many at times, we found it hard to get the perfect scrub for our face or body. But you can easily make your own scrub at home with a moisturizing cream or lotion. Make sure its a thick one. In a bowl, take some cream and add in brown sugar or some salt. You can also add ground oatmeal or ground walnuts and mix well to make your face or body scrub.

Make your Own Bath Soak
Your unused body lotion can be used as a relaxing bath soak too. Mix 1 tbsp of your body lotion with 1 tbsp of any essential oil of your choice and prepare your own bath soak that will help you not only to relax but also do good for your skin. Try to use a lotion that is runny and not too heavy.

Use as Makeup Remover
Most of the face moisturizers or creams can be used as makeup remover. Don’t use them to remove stubborn waterproof makeup, but light makeup can be easily removed by them. Mix a few drops of olive oil or almond oil to the cream/lotion to enhance its efficacy as a makeup remover.

Tame the Flyways
Flyways can be really annoying specially when you are after a perfect hairstyle for a special event. Hair sprays can make hair sticky and hard. However, your moisturizer can save you in this situation. Take a small amount of moisturizer and rub it between your hands and then run the hands down your hair.

Removing Price Stickers
Often we get irritated by the hard to remove price stickers on our brand new purchases. Even if we somehow manage to remove that, the sticky residue bothers us a lot. Use your moisturizer to get rid of that next time. Smear some lotion on top of the sticker and leave it like that for 3 minutes. Gently rub at it and then wash off to get rid of the sticker and its sticky remains.

Split ends are one of the most common hair problems. You can get rid of split ends by smoothing a small amount of moisturizer into the tips while the hair is still damp. Most of the moisturizers contain a lot of nourishing oils, hence they can repair split ends quite effectively.
