This tangy-sweet and super tasty drink is one of the most popular refreshing summer drinks. Take 1 large raw mango and boil it. Let it cool and then peel, mash and collect the pulp. Add cumin powder, asafoetida, crushed peppercorn, black salt and sugar. Mix well until the sugar is completely dissolved. Pour this into glasses and fill them with chilled water. Stir well and your chilled aam panna is ready to serve.
Cold Coffee Shake
Another wonderful drink for summer drink that refreshes and re-energizes us instantly. In a bowl, add coffee powder (1 tsp) and hot water (2 tsp) and mix well. Pour in in a blender and add in 4-5 ice cubes, 2 small cups of cold milk, vanilla ice cream and sugar as per your taste. Blend and then pour the drink in a glass, top it off with ice cream and some grated chocolate.

This is my top favorite summer drink. It is super refreshing and you can have it just any time. Take couple of glasses of fresh yogurt and mix it with 2 glasses of chilled water. Put it into the blender and add in 5-6 chopped curry leaves, finely grated ginger (2 inch knob), some coriander leaves chopped finely and salt. Blend well. In a small pan, add 1 tbsp of vegetable oil and heat it. Add mustard seeds. When they start to splutter, add some curry leaves and a pinch of asafetida. Wait for 30 seconds and remove from heat. Add it to the buttermilk mixture and serve.
This a delicious drink for summer. If you serve this to your guests, they will be delighted. And why only for guests, you can prepare it for yourself at home any time and feel fresh during hot summer days! Take 2 tbsp of rose syrup and add 1 tbsp of sugar to it. Mix till the sugar gets dissolved completely. Once done, add juice of one lemon and 2-3 tbsp of pomegranate juice (optional). Mix well and pour it into a tall glass. Pour chilled water on top of it and stirr well. Top with crushed ice and serve.

Mango lassi is a refreshing drink to beat the summer heat. It is smooth, creamy and tastes heavenly. Here’s how you can make it – Take one ripe mango (medium size) and peel it. Cut in into small cubes. Put them into a blender and add sugar according to taste. Add 2 cups of curd and some chilled water and switch on the blender to prepare a glass of delicious mango lassi.
