The Nature’s Co Green Apple Lip Pop Review

The Nature’s Co Green Apple Lip Pop Review – How often have we thought of grabbing a lip balm that hits all the notes right- That is should be vegan, natural, excellent moisturizing ability, unparalleled tint, commendable staying power and a budget friendly price at which it comes so that we can indulge in it all the more? Given my fascination (or perhaps, fixation) for lip balms, one day I came across an Indian brand that is certified vegan by PETA (People’s Ethical Treatment of Animals) and since it offered lip balms, there was no stopping in grabbing one! Quite naturally, I zeroed in on The Nature’s Co Green Apple Lip Pop and it goes without saying that the brand was The Nature’s Co, which is based out of Aamchi Mumbai.

So, today I will talk about how The Nature’s Co Green Apple Lip Pop fared for me. There are numerous benefits of opting for a lip balm. It is tacit that the skin on your lips is thinner than your facial skin. So in case you are suffering from chapped and dry lips, using a lip balm will ensure that your lips are well hydrated and they heal faster. Most of the lip balms these days, have SPF in them. During the winters, this thin layer is easily licked off. In combination with cold and windy weather, this often leads to chapped and dry lips. Thus it is mandatory to wear a lip balm. My experience with The Nature’s Co Green Apple Lip Pop

Packed in a simple plastic retractable tube with a cap at one end, the packaging of The Nature’s Co Green Apple Lip Pop is simple, no-nonsense, travel-friendly, hygienic to use (no dipping one’s fingers to draw out the balm), and sturdy. Till date, not even once has the balm stuck in the body of the tube. The cap hasn’t lost its grip either so far. On the whole, it fares well as far as packaging is concerned.

The texture is smooth though it may have a few flakes on top (depends entirely on the weather in which you bought it. I got it in monsoons and the top layer had some flakes which disappeared instantly as I glided it over my lips). The Nature’s Co Green Apple Lip Pop glides effortlessly and provides instant moisturization which depending on your lips’ condition will last. In my case, I have normal lips. The effect lasted for 2.5-3 hours.

It does not impart any color/tint which is disappointing for those who have pigmented/darkened lips and look forward to it for combating or at least concealing it. On a positive note, I am impressed with The Nature’s Co Green Apple Lip Pop’s formulation to the backbone. An all-natural formulation with a certified vegan tag (PETA), is what sets it apart from all others. In my opinion, it is a balm that works to treat chapped lips and not pigmented lips so, bear this point in mind before zeroing on it. It has its fair share of pros and cons to be precise.

In a nutshell, The Nature’s Co Green Apple Lip Pop works wonders to moisturize, soften and hydrate lips, however, do not look at it as a possible aid to cover the pigmentation of your lips. It is certified vegan, easily available, has an all-natural formulation but pinches pockets. Weigh the pros and cons for yourself!

Good about The Nature’s Co Green Apple Lip Pop

  • Certified vegan by PETA
  • All-natural formula
  • Tube packaging; the cap hasn’t lost its grip and the balm does not get stuck in the body
  • Pleasant fragrance. It isn’t strong at all, thus won’t irk those with a sensitive nose
  • Moisturizes lips well for 2.5 –3 hours. Duration may vary depending on your lips’ condition but this is the time period for which it lasted in my case
  • Regular use softens lips. In my case, it took a week to elicit results
  • Readily available. It is available on the official website of The Nature’s Co as well as Amazon India.

Bad about The Nature’s Co Green Apple Lip Pop

  • It is colorless. So, does not cover pigmented lips at all hence, of limited use to those with such lips
  • Price is not economical.

Availbility : Amazon India, Facebook and The Nature’s Co website
