St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub Review – Cleansing, toning and moisturizing and exfoliating – this is what our ideal skin care routine should be. And it won’t be exaggerating to say that exfoliating is the most important out of these four steps. Exfoliating is recommended for everyone, specially those who are worried about dry, dull skin and whiteheads or blackheads. A good scrubber takes off the layer of dead skin cells and reveal smooth, bright and beautiful skin. Scrubber is must in my skin care routine and St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub is what I am using these days.
St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub Review
I am a big fan of Everyuth scrubs. They work great for my skin. And to tell you the truth, I don’t experiment much with scrub and so I mainly switch between Everyuth and VLCC. Of late I was getting bored and wanted to try out something new. Not a new brand though, I was looking for a tried and tested one. And so I picked up this St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub. St. Ives is America’s number one scrub band. This apricot scrub is sulphate free, paraben free and also contains 100% natural exfoliants. The formula is non comedogenic, oil free as well as dermatologically tested. After using it for more than a month now, here goes my St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub Review.

What St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub claims
My experience with St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub
St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub comes in a squeeze tube with a flip open cap. The cap closes tightly with an audible ‘click’ sound. The tube is sturdy and can be carried without any trouble.
The scrub is cream in color with tiny brown particles present in it for exfoliation purpose. It has mild but fresh citrusy smell and thick, creamy consistency. Generally St. Ives scrubs are classified into three categories on the basis of exfoliation level – gentle, moderate and deep. This St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub falls under ‘deep’ category. The scrubbing particles (walnut shells) are slightly larger, but not at all harsh on the skin- just how I want my scrub to be.

St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub does an excellent job of scrubbing as well as cleansing the skin thoroughly. A pea sized amount is good enough for the face and neck. It spreads easily but doesn’t lather at all. While rubbing, if it feels drying on the skin, just wet your finger tips and rub gently again. Like I already said, the scrubbing particles are not at all abrasive, but effectively removes oil as well as dirt from the skin. Post wash, skin feels super clean, soft as well as radiant. You will surely see a difference after using this scrub. I feel as though this St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub cleanses my skin pore by pore. No other scrub has ever given me this kind of super clean feeling.
I have been using the scrub for more than a month now (twice a week) and it hasn’t given me any skin irritations or breakouts so far. The best thing is that it doesn’t contain sulphate and also paraben and is formulated with 100% natural exfoliants. Enriched with the goodness of apricot, walnut shell as well as corn, kernel meal, St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub is safe for all skin types. It doesn’t strip moisture of the skin, so dry skin won’t get drier and oily skin oilier.
Overall, I simply love St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub. Formulated without sulphate as well as paraben, this scrub gently cleanses the skin pore by pore and leaves you with soft, supple and fresh skin after every wash. This is my first scrub from St.Ives and I can’t wait to try their other variants as well. Do try this at least once.
