Ingredients to do Skin Whitening Facial at Home :

  • Rice flour
  • Lemon

Steps to do Skin Whitening Facial at Home

Steaming :

Steaming, Skin Whitening Facial

Taking steam before any facial is must. It helps in cleanses and opens up pores. It enhances blood circulation and helps removal of toxins. Steaming can be done by boiling Water or using a Sauna steamer. Take steam for good 10 mins but don’t exceed.

Facial Scrub :

To make facial scrub you will need 1 tsp Rice flour, few drops of  lemon juice and 1 tsp cucumber juice. Mix it Well. Apply it on your face. Leave it for 10 mins and remove it while massaging the skin in circular motion.

Rice flour : Rice flour contains a few sun-protecting agents like ferulic acid and allantoin, which convert it into a good natural sunscreen. Being a good anti-inflammatory agent, rice flour also soothes sunburns and prevents the skin from sun tan.

Lemon juice : Lemons are easily available and this citric fruit is rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin B, Phosphorus and Carbohydrates. The natural acid present in lemon juice helps in removing dead cells and lighting age spots. It also helps in removal of excess oil from face.

Cucumber juice : Cucumber juice can be used as a natural toner due to its cooling properties. Cucumber juice absorbs oiliness in skin and gives a beautiful glowing skin. As it is 95% water, the skin gets well moisturized and is a good agent for hydrating face.

Face Pack :

To prepare face pack you will need 1 tsp of each potato juice, tomato juice, curd and gram flour. Mix it well. Leave this for about 15 mins on face and then rinse it off. Apply this mask for anti-aging, hydration and to reduce fine lines.
